Moreover, we can take our time and help you get more comfortable with the gear and skills if needed. We offer a student instructor ratio of 6:1, at the maximum, ensuring proper attention is given to every student. The PADI Open water course is easily one of the most popular Recreational Diving Courses globally and is your passport to the “certified diver” fraternity.

Designed to take a beginner through the stages of converting into an independent SCUBA Diver, the Open Water license is your first true step into the beauty and magic of the Oceans. As long as you are 10 and above, can swim 200 meters freely using any swimming stroke, and tread water for about 10 minutes, you are eligible to sign up for the PADI Open Water Diver Course. 10-15 year old earn the Junior Open Water diver certification allowing them to dive to 12 meters while everyone above 15 years dives to 18 meters / 60 feet below.

The PADI Open Water Diver Course has 3 modules to complete within a Year of starting.

with PADI’s Seal Team course for Juniors. Its simple MISSIONS to accomplish and a great deal of fun

schedules, this course can be the perfect Birthday treat (or PARTY!) Successfully completing all

PADI Skin Diver (Age 8 and above):

The simplest way to explore shallow reefs and the mighty oceans
is to snorkel and Free Dive (breath hold diving). The PADI SKIN DIVER course takes your basic
snorkelling lesson to another level. The course includes 3 hours of focussed attention on
understanding snorkelling equipment, breathing & finning techniques, treading water and free
diving techniques in our customised Deep diving pool (20 feet). The “Absolute” experience includes
extended Theory sessions and videos on safe practices while snorkelling and Free Diving.

PADI SCUBA Diver Course (For Swimmers)

The PADI system of certification allows for a flexible approach to certifying as a SCUBA diver.
There is a contingency plan for any student that may either not have all the 4 days necessary to
complete the PADI Open Water Diver Course or may want to stage the Certification process over a slower pace of Certification.

This is where the PADI SCUBA Diver certification steps in.
A subset of the PADI Open Water Diver course, the SCUBA diver course requires only 2 days and
certifies a student with a license that allows SCUBA diving to 12 meters with a Dive Professional as a buddy.

Perfect for short holidays to SCUBA diving destinations, the SCUBA diver course requires a student to:
1. Complete 1 day of Pool Training with half the skills of the Open Water diver course
2. Complete only the first 3 chapters of the manual as reviews with the Instructor (no Final exam)
3. Complete 1 day of Open Water diving with 2 training dives to demonstrate mastery in certain skill sets only.

The SCUBA diver certification can be upgraded at any PADI dive centre in the World by simply:
1. Completing day 2 of remaining pool skills
2. Completing chapters 4 & 5 of the PADI Open Water Diver course manual and the Final Exam
3. Completing day 2 of the open water training dives.

available on a holiday or simply wants to take their time mastering their SCUBA skills.

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course

Continue your SCUBA education and certify to reach greater Depths and diversity in your Diving with
the PADI Advanced Open Water Course.

Eligible for certified PADI Open or Junior open water divers, the Advanced course takes one into 5
specialised “Adventure” dives and greater confidence to handle different diving scenarios.

Apart from the 2 mandatory dives : a Deep dive to 30 meters and the Advanced Compass Navigation
dives, students have the option of selecting 3 special Adventure dives from a range of dives.

Choices could be made between Night Dive, Wreck Dive, Enriched Air (Nitrox) dive, Underwater
photography / videography, Peak Performance Buoyancy dive, Project AWARE dive to the Cavern
dive or Drift dive. There’s even a dive where one can learn to handle the underwater scooters (Diver Propulsion Vehicle) !

There is no exam for the PADI Advanced Open Water Course, just reviews of the 5 chapters in the
course manual with the Instructor.

The PADI Advanced Open Water diver certification allows deeper diving and may also be required
for certain SCUBA diving destinations or dive sites that require a greater level of experience as opposed to the Open Water diver skills.

EFR (Emergency First Response) – Open to All Divers and Non-Divers

This ONE day land based course is not only a pre-requisite for the next SCUBA course a diver can
take, RESCUE DIVER, but also a very handy course for everyone in the Family.

It does not teach you SCUBA diving; instead it focuses on being a Trained responder to emergencies,
both on land as well as while SCUBA diving.

The EFR includes manual, video and resuscitation mannequin based learning as well as
performances. It teaches everything from Primary care to Secondary Care for adults and children
and gives confidence during an emergency to call upon trained skills.

The EFR merges seamlessly with the PADI RESCUE diver course and can be completed at Absolute
Scuba Pune. All our SCUBA Instructors are qualified EFR Instructors.

PADI Rescue Diver Course

Experienced SCUBA divers or SCUBA diving professionals often describe the PADI Rescue Diver
course as the most challenging and rewarding course they’ve ever taken. It’s because you learn to
recognise, prevent and manage problems in the water, and become more confident in your skills as a diver, knowing that you can help others if needed.

During the course, you learn to become a better buddy by practicing problem solving skills until they
